Mango Fish Curry


• Fish – 6-7 pieces
• Raw mango – 10 pieces of 3 inch each
• Onions 2
• Red Chilli powder- 1 tsp
• Dhaniya powder- 1 tsp
• Ginger Garlic paste
• Ginger : 2” piece
• Garam Masala
• Coconut Milk – 1 cup
• Curry leaves
• Tomato -1
• Turmeric
• Salt


Make a mixture of turmeric, salt, half spoon of ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp onion paste (Grind 1 onion) then apply the this mixture on both sides of the fish , add some oil into a pan and fry them for about 5 minutes. Deep fry/roast is not requied as we will boil this fish in the curry later.

Add 2-3 tsp oil into an another pan,put seasoning using jeera,curry leaves,4-5 methi seeds,chopped onions and fry it until the onions turn light brown in colour.Add the raw mango pieces ,tomato,1 tsp red chilli powder,1 tsp dhaniya powder and salt as per the requirement and fry them until the raw mango turns to soft. Now add the coconut milk ,fried fish and a picnh of Garam masala and allow this mixture to cook for about 5-10 min.

Now serve this Mango fish curry with rice or neeru dosa.
